Jean Linsalata Costello, 95, entered into eternal peace on August 24, 2013. A proud Italian from South Philadelphia, Jean has lived in Lancaster for 56 years. She is survived by her four children, Kathryn Griffen, John Costello (Rose), Frank Costello (Jane), and Greg Costello (Linda), seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, her sister, Lenore Cahill and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard F. Costello and her first son, Richard. Jean was a parishioner at St. John Neumann and was an active member of the Craft Guild for many years. A friend to all she met, Jean was an avid gardener, great knitter and wonderful dog lover. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30AM on Saturday, August 31, 2013 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 601 E. Delp Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601 with Rev. Michael J. Culkin as Celebrant. A visitation will held from 9:30-10:30AM at the church on Saturday. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, W. Conshohocken, PA at 1:30PM.
