Jean A. Buckwalter, 91, of Oak Leaf Manor, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2012 at Ephrata Manor. Born in Steelton, she was the daughter of the late Peter and Villamona (Spizirri) Spizzirri.

She was preceded in death by William S.R. Buckwalter in 2009.

She was a first generation Italian American and a member of St. John Neumann Catholic Church.

Jean resided at Oak Leaf Manor for three years. She enjoyed traveling, reading, and spending time with her family.

Jean is survived by two daughters, Linda Jean Graham, wife of Gerald, of Gordonville, Mari Ann Buckwalter, of Shaftsbury, MD, and a son, William S.R. Buckwalter II of Missouri, two grandchildren, Laura Fox and Matthew Graham, eight great grandchildren and a brother, Frank Spizzirri, of Steelton.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Rose Bakarich.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday October 17, 2012 at 11:30AM in the Chapel of the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory 3110 Lititz Pike with Rev. Sarah Jones officiating. Visitation will be from 10:30AM until the time of the service. A private casket interment will be in Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
