Jean Bachman, 95, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on June 11, 2019 at Luther Acres. Born in Elizabethtown, she was the daughter of the late Harry H. and Frances A. (Stauffer) Badorf and the wife of the late Robert Bachman who passed in 1990.

Raised in Lititz, Jean was a 1941 graduate of Lititz High School. She worked as a clerk for McElroy's Pharmacy for over 30 years. She enjoyed quilting, cross stitch, and spending time with friends and family. Jean and Robert enjoyed traveling, camping, and going to Knoebels with their grandchildren. Jean was a dedicated member of Lititz Church of the Brethren and was a member of the Golden Needles group. She also volunteered her time with Meals on Wheels.

Jean is survived by her son, Robert Bachman and his wife Cecilia, her daughter, Donna Peters, four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, a sister-in-law, June Badorf, and several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert, and her siblings; Harry H. Badorf, Luella MacDonald, and Mary Dannelley.

A Funeral Service will be held June 17, 2019 11:00am at Lititz Church of the Brethren located at 300 W Orange St, Lititz, PA 17543. Guests will be welcomed starting at 10:00am. Interment will follow services as Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Akron. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean's name can be made to Lititz Church of the Brethren at the address above.
