Jean Ann Martin, 80, of Lockhaven, passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024, with her family by her side. Born in Waterville, IA, she was the daughter of the late Herman J. and Margaret (Kehr) Iverson. Jean met the love of her life, Glenn J. Martin, while on a blind date, they were married April 6, 1968, celebrating 56 years of marriage.

Jean graduated from Waukon High School in Waukon, IA and went on to earn her associate's degree in nursing in Iowa City. Jean worked tirelessly as a nurse, dedicating her life to the care of others.

Jean loved the outdoors and enjoyed camping with her family. She also enjoyed crafts and knitting and could be found curled up with a good book. She was also a dog lover at heart.

In addition to her husband, Glenn, she is survived by her daughters, Brenda A. Young, wife of Greg, of Lititz, and Tracy J. Burnheimer, wife of Robert, of Bainbridge, and son, Brian G. Martin, husband of Cheryl, of Manheim; 4 grandchildren: Haley Murgas, wife of Joe, Michael and Jason Martin, and Colton Burnheimer; and a brother, Wayne J. Iverson, husband of Nancy (Heiner), of Lampeter.

Family and friends will be received from 5PM to 6PM, Friday, January 10, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A Memorial Service will follow at 6PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jean's memory may be made to Hospice & Community Care .
