Janet L. Simmons, 63, died at her home in Lancaster on Wednesday, April 28, 2010. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Paul and LaRue Davis Marks.

A graduate of J. P. McCaskey High School and Lancaster County Area Vocational-Technical School, Janet was an LPN at Philhaven for over ten years. She enjoyed photography and scrap booking.

Janet is survived by two children, Jody, wife of Jason Trapasso of Silverdale, WA and Matthew, husband of Andrea Simmons of Wallingford; three grandchildren, Joshua, Alex and Serafina; and her friend Gerald Simmons of Lancaster. Her brother Bill Marks preceded Janet in death.

A Visitation will take place on Thursday, May 6, 2010 from 5 to 6 pm, followed by a Memorial Service with The Rev. Paul Eyer officiating at 6 pm, at the Charles F.
