Janet Vera Pfeiffer, 79, of Millersville, passed away on Sunday, March 11, 2012 at St. Anne's Retirement Community.  Born in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Louis and Lelia (Troxel) Gaffuri.  Janet was the wife of the late George J. Pfeiffer who passed away in 1979.

Janet was a purchasing clerk for Upper Merion School District.  She was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church where she volunteered at the church Mission Thrift Shop and assisted in assembling Sunday bulletins.  She enjoyed bowling, painting, gardening and traveling.

Surviving is a son: Daniel Pfeiffer, husband of Julie of Fishers, IN; a daughter: Lori Jo Salomon of Lancaster, PA; and 5 grandchildren: Erika Salomon, Cassianne Pfeiffer, Patrick Salomon, Alison Pfeiffer and Matthew Pfeiffer.
