Jane F. Wright, 84, formerly of Lancaster, passed away on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Maple Farm Retirement Community in Akron, PA. She was the wife of the late Richard I. Wright, who passed away in 2009. Born in Shade Gap, PA, she was the daughter of the late Wallace and Gertrude "Helen" Briggs Fogal.

A graduate of Orbisonia High School, she was her class valedictorian and head majorette.

Jane had worked as a dental assistant and had been the past president in 1959 of the PA Dental Assistants Association. She was a member of the Business Professional Womens Club of Lancaster and had served as a Girl Scout leader.

Jane is survived by her daughters: Lori Wright of Lititz, and Mitzi Wright of Akron; her granddaughter Isabella; and her siblings Robert Fogal and Peggy Kolb, both of Chambersburg and Dolly Miller of York. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Dick and James Fogal.

Friends and family are invited to attend Jane's Memorial Service on Monday, January 18, 2016 at 1PM at the Center United Methodist Church, 3195 Doran Rd., Waterfall, PA, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. Her family asks that you please dress for warmth and comfort.
