Jane Elizabeth Brandt, 90, passed on to Heaven as the brilliant sun rose, Saturday morning October 20th, 2018. It was a joyous occasion as she was welcomed with open arms by God and her husband of 49 years, Robert A. Brandt Sr. who preceded her on that journey in July of 1999. Jane was born December 31st, 1927 in downtown Lebanon, Pennsylvania as the first child of four to Myles Robert and Kathryn (Landis) Yorty. She graduated from Lebanon High. Jane was a 63 year member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church where she taught Sunday school and vacation bible school. Jane lived the last 19 years of her life at 1135 New Holland Pike, Lancaster, as she had since 1955, without her husband. She was independent right up to the last 12 weeks. She moved to Luther Acres in Lititz, PA for the final stanza. Her family expresses appreciation for the dedicated individuals from Luther Care, Hospice & Community Care, Home Instead and Your Neighborhood Connection who shared in the last chapter of this great story. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert A.
