Jan J. Valuch, 59, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2014. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late John and Betty (Harnish) Valuch.

He was a 1972 graduate of JP McCaskey High School and went on to graduate from Millersville University with a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Arts.

Jan worked for the Intelligencer Printing in the color correction department for over 25 years.

He was a talented artist, enjoyed science fiction movies, and was an avid Penn State and Eagles football fan.

Jan had a very kind and generous soul and was loved by family and friends and all who knew him.

He is survived by his sister, Dr. Jill E. Valuch, wife of Dr. Glenn Kline, of Lancaster and his former wife, Rebecca Valuch, of MD. Also surviving is a niece, Lexie Kline.

In keeping with Jan's wishes there will be no formal services.
