James S. Wardrop, Sr, 86, of Lancaster, passed away on November 23, 2017 at ManorCare of Lancaster. Born in Selinsgrove, PA, he was the son of the late Agnes & Clayton Wardrop, Sr. James was the husband of 62 years to Virginia "Ginny" Wardrop. A veteran, he served in the US Navy. James retired from RCA. He was a member of the Elks Lodge#134, and played Santa & the Easter Bunny for them at events. He enjoyed hunting & fishing and loved his family. Surviving is his wife, Ginny; children: Jamie Wardrop Brown, James S. Wardrop, Jr, Jody Wardrop, Jeannine Sailor & Jeff Wardrop; 10 grandchildren & 5 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Clayton Wardrop, Jr. A viewing will be held from 10-11 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 11 AM on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at the Charles F.
