James Simpson 73, of Lancaster, died Saturday, July 12, 2014, at Southeastern Veterans Center, Spring City. He was born in Wilmington, DE to the late Katherine Rando Dardin, was husband of the late Gail Swarr Simpson and step-father to four girls. A US Army veteran, Jim was a welder and crane supervisor for High Industries and a member of The Riverside Club. He enjoyed boating, fishing, playing guitar and singing, playing pool and mowing the lawn.

A memorial gathering will take place Saturday, August 16, 2014, from 1 to 3 pm at the Calvin G. High Pavilion in Greenfield Park, William Penn Way and Colonial Village Lane, Lancaster, PA 17601. Private Interment with Military Honors took place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Please omit flowers.
