James E. Schweikert, 79, of Lititz, died Monday, September 28, 2015 at Audubon Villa.

Born in Philadelphia, he was the husband of the late Diane A. (DeBlois) Schweikert, who died April 8, 2008. He was the son of the late Frederick Joseph and Dorothy Marie (Pierce) Schweikert.

James loved trips to the beach and spending holidays with family. He was a loyal Eagles, Phillies, and Notre Dame fan. He led the group AA meetings at St. James Catholic Church, Lititz.

James is survived by a brother, Frederick "Pete" Schweikert of Wildwood, NJ, and a sister, Dorothy Agliano of Barto. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and William.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, October 17, 2015 at St. James Catholic Church, 505 Woodcrest Ave., Lititz, with the Rev. James O'Blaney, C. Ss.R. officiating. A graveside service will be held at a later date at St. Peter and Paul Cemetery in Springfield, PA.
