James R. Shreiner, 51, of Allentown, died unexpectedly Friday, April 10, 2015 from injuries sustained in a traffic accident. Born in Lancaster, Jim was the son of Hattie G. (Hardman) Shreiner of Lebanon, and the late Ron Shreiner. Jim was an 18 wheel truck driver since his graduation from ELCO High School in 1983. He enjoyed driving truck, and participating in Make A Wish Foundation events. A friend to everyone, Jim enjoyed spending time with his family. In addition to his mother, Jim is survived by his wife, Susan A. (Warner) Shreiner of Macungie, PA, sister, Brenda K., wife of Arthur Herring, of Lebanon, nephew, Michael J. Shaud, of Lebanon, great-nephew, Cameron, and stepdaughter, Trish, wife of Dan Miller. A Christian Prayer Service for Jim will be held Saturday, April 25, 2015 at 2 PM at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, with Rev. Bernardo Pistone officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Make A Wish Foundation, www.wish.org, or to the funeral home at the above address to offset funeral expenses.
