James R. Mimnall, 90, of Millersville, PA passed away Saturday, February 18, 2017 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. He was the husband of Dolores (Simmons) Mimnall to whom he was married for 67 years.

Born in Lancaster he was a son of the late James and Irene (Danz) Mimnall. Jim worked as a machinist with RCA until his retirement. He was a member of St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, served in the US Army Air Corps during WWII, and had his private pilot's license. He enjoyed camping, fishing and spending time outdoors. He was a very proud father and beloved Pappy.

In addition to his wife Dolores, he is survived by his four children Audrey McGuigan (the late Edward) of Leola, PA, Patricia Rieker (Stephen) of Holtwood, PA, James R. Mimnall, Jr.(Tracey) of Columbia, PA and Diane Brenner (Greg) of Lancaster, PA; seven grandchildren Heather Zerbe (James), Emily Barnhart (Richard), Sara Mimnall (Izzy Acosta), Rachel Mimnall, Jacqueline Radcliff (Ian), Jessica Brenner and Renee' Yeater (Arzie); seven great-grandchildren Bryce Helm, Dakota Yeater, Madison and Victoria Barnhart, Grayson and Dalton Zerbe and Madelyn Schram; one brother Kenneth Mimnall (Joan) of Conestoga, PA. He was preceded in death by a grandson Keith McGuigan and a brother Donald Mimnall.

A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of his family.
