James C. Meehan, 25, of Lancaster, passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2017. Born in Worcester, MA, he was the son of James A. Meehan of Lancaster and Krista Saball Meehan of Shirley, MA. Jimmy had worked as a server at Ciro's Italian Bistro of Lancaster and had previously served at the Longhorn Steak House and at the Eden Resort. He was a 2010 graduate of Lancaster Catholic High School. Jimmy was the greatest hugger in the world, and had a smile that would light up any room he would walk into. He loved spending time with his family, which included cooking and playing board games together. Jimmy is survived by his mother Krista Saball Meehan and father James A. Meehan (Nicole), his maternal grandfather, John F. Saball, Sr. of MA, his maternal grandmother Suzanne married to C.W. Macomber of FL, his maternal grandfather Edward Higgins of CT, and by his maternal great grandmother Christyne A. Saball of MA. He is also survived by his brothers, Joseph A. and Brian V. and his sister, Caitlin M. Meehan, all of Lancaster. Friends will be received on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA from 6-7:45PM with the Recitation of The Holy Rosary at 7:45PM. Friends may call again on Monday, January 23, 2017 at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 558 W. Walnut St., Lancaster, PA from 10-11AM, with the Mass to follow at 11AM.
