James was born 6 November 1981 in Monmouth New Jersey and passed away on 27 June 2024. James is survived by his uncle and stepdad Mark Piefer, Brothers Randy (Nancy) McNeely, Chris (Keira) Piefer, Shaun (Sara) Gebhard, and Chris Gebhard as well as sister Cathy Travers (McNeely), wife of Heath and several nieces and nephews.

James suffered severe TBI in 1999 because of a car accident. Prior to this James enjoyed video games, playing Magic the Gathering and D&D. He attended Penn Manor High and worked several part time jobs. He was always a joking guy and was up for anything, which his brothers and friends took advantage of. Resulting and laughs and sometimes trouble. After the accident James fought very hard. He was able to do work through Good Will due to the support and therapy he received from Beechwood Neuro Rehab, Langhorn PA. James family wishes to thank them immensely for their care and support through the majority of James's life post TBI. James family would also like to thank Dresher Hill Nursing rehab and Angelic Hospice for their compassion and care.

James is proceeded in death by his father Randall McNeely, mother Penny Kay Peifer-McNeely and aunt/stepmom Jean Peifer.

Family invites you to attend his memorial service to be held 13 July 2024 at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 441 North George Street, Millersville PA. Visitation from 10 to 11, Service at 11 followed by interment at Conestoga Memorial Park, 95 2nd Lock Rd, Lancaster.
