James S. "Jim" Kendig, 59, of Lancaster, died Sunday, September 18, 2016 in his residence. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Charles H. Kendig, Jr and Shirley A. (Minnich) Kendig. Jim attended St. Mary's Catholic Church, Lancaster. As a youngster, Jim was an avid baseball player. He loved hunting and fishing, and was also talented in drawing and painting. He is survived by a daughter, Jamie L. Kendig of Ephrata; a grandson, Paul Bowman, Jr; siblings Donna M. Enck of Lancaster; Charles W. Kendig of GA; Anne L. White and Bridget Bowman (Brian), all of Lancaster; and Linda M. Sourbeer (Douglas) of Willow Street. He was preceded in death by a brother, Richard L.
