“Jim” Dietrich

James A. "Jim" Dietrich, 64, of East Petersburg, passed away on Friday, August 8, 2025, at Hospice and Community Care of Mount Joy.
Born in Reading, he was the son of the late George A. and Antoniette (Brancadora) Dietrich, Sr. He was the loving Husband of Brenda L. (Brubaker) Dietrich.
Jim was a proud retired Marine Veteran. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and could often be found tinkering and fixing anything mechanical. Jim was a committed Christian and an active member of various churches, serving in numerous roles over the years. Above all, he cherished time spent with his family and was devoted to his faithful dogs, Bear and Madison who he loved very much.
Jim is survived by his wife, Brenda Dietrich; two daughters; his sister, Dorothy Kempf; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and two sisters.
Friends and family will be received from 1PM to 2PM on Friday, August 22, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. A Funeral Service will follow beginning at 2PM. Interment will take place at Rohrerstown Mennonite Cemetery.
To celebrate Jim's life and memory, his family encourages those attending to wear colorful attire.
