James E. Boice, Jr., 51, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 31, 2012 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, Jimmy was the son of James E. Boice, Sr, and the late Jean (White) Moyer.

Jimmy was the loving husband of Jane L. (Buckwalter) Boice.

He was formerly employed by Wild Auto Parts.

Jimmy was a 1979 J.P. McCaskey High School graduate. He was a CB enthusiast and enjoyed working on his computer, shooting pool, NASCAR, wrestling, country music, and wolves.

Surviving in addition to his wife, a step-daughter, Michelle Anderson, of Chicago, sister, Michelle, wife of Edward G. Gardner, of Lancaster, a brother, Cory Myers, four nieces, and two nephews. He was preceded in death by a step-father George Moyer in 2011.

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2012 at 11am at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA 17602 with The Rev. James Donahoo officiating. A visitation will be from 10-11AM. Interment will be in the Conestoga Memorial Park Columbarium.
