James Edward Axe Sr, 82, of Galeton, PA, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at his daughter's home.

Born July 25,1942, in Lancaster Pa, he was a son of the late Jerry Axe and June (Speece) Wagner.

Jim worked as a Long Distance Truck driver for 30 plus years. Jim was married to the love of his life, the late Deborah Axe, for 44 years. They Retired and spent the last of their years in Galeton, Pa, Gods Country Potter County! Jim was a member of the Kettle Creek Sportsman's Club. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved being in the great outdoors. Loved his Cabin in the woods.

Surviving are five children, James Axe Jr, Scott Metz and wife Angie and son Hunter. Spencer Wingenroth and wife Debbie with son Braden and Daughter Breanna Hoover and husband Justin with a daughter Zanayah and son Amir. Craig Wingenroth with Wife Amber and two sons Wyatt and Lincoln. Daughter Krista Pelletier with late husband Dan and two sons Daniel and Andy. All Lancaster Pa. Total of 5 Grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Germania Fire Company or to the Kettle Creek Sportsman's Club.

Celebration of Life will be held, and a date is to be determined. As we will honor Both Mom and Dad as they are reunited.
