Jack F. Parke, Jr., 83, of New Providence, passed away on March 3, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Lancaster, he was the son of the late Jack F. Parke Sr., and Alice (Smith) Parke.
Jack dedicated many years to his community as a real estate appraiser, and owner/operator of Parke Appraisals, and Solanco Realty, as well as on the New Providence Planning Commission.
His true passion was restoring boats and antique cars. As an avid classic car enthusiast, he was a member of the Lancaster County Cruisers for over 20 years and was the VP and cruise director for 5 years, the Red Rose Antique Car Club, and the Hershey Regional Antique Automobile Club of America.
Jack's memory will live on in all who knew and loved him, especially his longtime companion Carol Farmer, children Karen Dellinger of Lanc, Brenda Spencer (Larry) of New Providence, Virginia Parke of Millersville, Randy Parke of Strasburg, and Lynn Hess (Charlie) of Pequea,6 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and his brother Pete Parke (Linda) of Mt. Joy. He was preceded in passing by his wife, Roberta "Bobbie" Parke, 3 sisters and 1 brother.
A service honoring Jack will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA 17584. The family will receive guests from 10 AM until the time of service. Guests are encouraged to display their restored classic cars in Jack's memory on the day of the service. Memorial contributions may be made to the Solanco Neighborhood Ministries Food Bank, 14 S. Church St. Quarryville, PA 17566.
