J. Scott Starr, 61, of Lancaster, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025. He was born in Lancaster the son of the late Robert Gene and Mary Jane (Lombardo) Starr.

Scott worked in production for Thompson Sixty Case, Aavid, Thermal Corporation, and High Steel. He enjoyed playing poker, collecting coins, watching classic movies, and cheering for the Dallas Cowboys . He was a parishioner of St. Anthony of Padua Roman Catholic Church.

Scott is survived by his three brothers, James R. Starr, Thomas W. Starr, and Brian K. Starr, all of Lancaster. In addition to his parents, Scott was predeceased by his sister Mary Ann Starr and his brother Dennis Michael Starr.

Private interment will be in St. Anthonys Catholic Cemetery.
