J. Richard Frey, 93, of Lititz, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2024. Born in Penryn, PA, he was the son of the late Samuel and Irene (Ober) Frey. He was married 65 years to his beloved wife Faye (Hoffman) Frey.

Richard was a graduate of Lititz High School and worked his entire career at Wilbur Chocolate. He was extremely hardworking and even worked in the Wilbur candy shop after his retirement. Richard and his family enjoyed tent camping vacations at the beach. More recently, he enjoyed doing puzzles and he was an avid reader. Richard was a lifelong member of Trinity EC (Lititz Trinity).

In addition to his wife Faye, he is survived by 3 daughters: Kathleen Stotz (Darrell), Kimberly Frey, and Kristin Frey (Barbara Yordy); 3 grandchildren: Darrell Stotz, Shaun Stotz (Alexis), and Hannah Williams (Jonathan); 3 great-grandchildren: Lilia, Nalanna, and Lacey Williams; and sister June Schreiber. He was predeceased by his brother Paul Frey and son Keith Richard Frey.
