Irene P. Stoe, 81, of Mount Joy, passed away Sunday, August 17, 2025, at Neffsville Nursing & Rehab. Born in Beaverdale, PA, she was the daughter of the late John and Mary Kentula. She was the loving wife of William M. Stoe, with whom she celebrated 61 years of marriage.

Irene worked as a housekeeper throughout Lancaster County for many years, but her true calling was to her family and her dedication to be a homemaker for her husband, children, and grandchildren.

Irene was a longtime Parishioner of Mary Mother of the Church, Mount Joy. She enjoyed her annual trips to Ocean City, MD each Fall, spending time at their camp in Lincoln, DE, and traveling to visit family in Johnstown. A vibrant person, Irene enjoyed the bright colors of the flowers in her garden.

In addition to her husband, William, she is survived by her daughter, Tammy Roark, wife of Steve, of Lancaster and her son, Tom Stoe, husband of Kim, of Mount Joy; 2 grandchildren, Molly and Emily Stoe; and 4 siblings: Frank Ehrstine, Ronald Boback, David Rosey, and Kathleen Botteicher.

Memorial Services for Irene will be held at 12:30PM, Monday, August 25, 2025, at Charles F. Snyder Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Family and friends will be received at the funeral home from 11:30AM to 12:30PM. Interment will take place at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
