Irene "Renie" Lukitsch, 78, of Lancaster, passed away peacefully Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Lancaster Regional Medical Center. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Mary Petsch Harnish.

Irene worked at various Lancaster restaurants and nightclubs. She enjoyed needlework and gardening and was an avid Phillies fan.

Surviving are three children, Tracy Cover-Korich, Anthony Lukitsch and Jennifer Lukitsch, four grandchildren, her sister Anna Rhine and numerous nieces and nephews, all of Lancaster. Her son Jeffrey Lukitsch and brother Frank Harnish preceded Irene in death.

Friends may visit with Irene's family from 6 to 8 PM on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King St. Lancaster, PA. Interment will be private.
