Irene Vessa Christoff Georgilis was born in Merrillville, Indiana on March 13, 1956. She passed on October 4, 2017 after a courageous 3 year battle with cancer, surrounded by her loving family. Irene was the loving wife of the late Steven John Georgilis, proud mother of John Georgilis, married to Lisa, and Alexis Lindsay, married to Doug, a cherished Baba to Isabelle, Liam, Nikolas and Cora; and sister of Alex & Steven Christoff and their wives. Irene was a member of Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church. Family & friends were most important to her, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking. A viewing will be held from 6-8 pm on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at the Charles F. Snyder, Jr. Funeral Home & Crematory, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA 17543. Viewing will continue on Monday, October 9, 2017 from 9:30-10:30 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 10:30 AM at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, 64 Hershey Ave, Lancaster, PA 17603.
