Ira V. "Bunny" Sheaffer, Jr, 87, of Lancaster, died Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, he was the husband of Lois G. (Muehleisen) Sheaffer of Lancaster, and the son of the late Ira V. Sheaffer Sr. and Clara V. (Munson) Sheaffer. He was a member of St. Matthew Evangelical Lutheran Church, Lancaster, and an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. A 1950 West Lampeter High School graduate, Bunny was an avid golfer and a member of Conestoga Country Club. In addition to his wife of 47 years, he is survived by a sister, Mary E. Hagans of Lititz, and was preceded in death by a brother, Jacob A., and a sister, Norma Sheaffer. It was Bunny's wish that no services be held. Kindly omit flowers.
