Ines Iluminada Hernandez Perez, 92, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on March 13, 2018 at Hospice & Community Care, Mount Joy. Born in Puerto Rico, she was the daughter of Alejandro Hernandez & Inocencia Rojas. Ines was the loving wife of 57 years to Wilfredo Perez Gerena. She was a hospitable & welcoming person. She always made sure everyone was fed. Ines' passion was cooking and taking care of her family. In addition to her husband, Wilfredo, she is survived by children: Luis R. Ortega (Miriam), Wilfredo Perez (Teresa), Ray Perez & Sonia Mendez (John); 7 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren & 3 great-great-grandchildren; 3 siblings; and many nieces & nephews. Ines was preceded in death by her parents; step-mother, Ramonita Hernandez; and 9 siblings. A viewing will be held from 7-9 PM on Friday, March 16, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St, Millersville, PA 17551. Viewing will continue on Saturday, March 17 from 10-11 AM with A Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 11 AM at San Juan Bautista Catholic Church, 425 S Duke St, Lancaster, PA 17602.
