Horace C. Davidson, Jr., 72, of Lancaster, passed away on Friday, November 23, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital with his family at his side. He was the loving husband of 52 years to Brenda Lou (Conlin) Davidson.

Born at home in Lancaster he was the son of the late Horace C. and Ethel M. (Urban) Davidson.

Horace was a self-reliant man who lived for his family. Horace enjoyed every moment he shared with his wife, children, sister and most especially his grandchildren. He was a member of Faith United Church of Christ in Lancaster. When life got busy he would find peace in going to the bay and watching the waves roll in.

Before his retirement he worked as the manager for Nolt's Body Shop. He was also a woodworker and an avid bowler who bowled with AMF Industrial, Wednesday Night Travel and multiple other leagues. Horace enjoyed working at Goodling's Pro Shop in his spare time.

In addition to his wife, Brenda, he is survived by his sons: Doug Davidson and his wife, Dawn, Brian Davidson and his wife, Jenn; sister: Doris Bowman; and grandchildren, Seth, Erin, Gavin, Brynne, Tristan, Nolan, Logan and Piper.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, December 22nd at 10:30am at the Lancaster Alliance Church, 210 Pitney Road, Lancaster, PA 17601. The family will receive guests from 9:45am until the time of service. At the request of the family, all bowlers are asked to wear their bowling shirts.
