With heavy hearts the family of Hilda L. Treasure announce her passing on September 10, 2024, in Springfield, VA. She was 96. Born in Bolivar, PA, she was the daughter of the late Donato and Giselda (Patriaca) Antonacci. She was the devoted wife of Blair Treasure for over 64 years, until his passing in 2016.

Hilda worked as a 4th grade teacher at Eshleman Elementary School, in Penn Manor School District for over 25 years. She and Blair will also be remembered as long-time parishioners at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, before moving to Virginia to be closer to their family. She was part of the Women's Auxiliary at the church, volunteered at the gift shop of Lancaster General Hospital, and served in every office in Pi Lambda Theta, where she also served as President twice.

Hilda dedicated her time to her friends and family. She was a beloved grandma that involved herself in all her grandsons' activities and spoiled them, especially during their weekly summer stays with her. She was a loving aunt to her many nephews and nieces. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, baking, and shopping for the best deals.

Hilda is survived by her son David Treasure, husband of Jennifer of Springfield, VA; grandsons: Sam, Tyler, and Jake of Springfield, VA; and a brother, Edward Antonacci. She was preceded in passing by her husband Blair; their son, James Treasure, and brothers: Dante Antonacci, Donald (Bill) Antonacci, and Anthony Antonacci.

The family will receive guests on Monday, September 23, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 441 N. George St. Millersville, PA 17551. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2024, at 11 AM with Fr. Lawrence Sherdel as Celebrant at St. Philip the Apostle Catholic Church, 2111 Millersville Pike, Lancaster, PA 17603. A viewing will be held at the church one hour prior to Mass. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Hilda's name may be made to the James E. Treasure Football Scholarship at Millersville University c/o James E. Treasure Endowment PO Box 1002 Millersville, PA 17551.
