Heriberto Rosa, 69, of Columbia, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, on Thursday, May 12, 2016. Born in Luquillo, PR, Heriberto was the son of the late Agapito Rosa and Matilde Rivera. Heriberto is the loving husband of Carmen Rosa with whom he celebrated 46 years of marriage.

Heriberto was a construction worker until 1987. He was a faithful Christian and member of the IPDA Church, Lancaster. He loved to collect model cars, but more than anything else in this world, he loved his big family.

In addition to his wife, Carmen, Heriberto is survived by four children: Josephine, Heriberto, II, Gilberto, and Richard, all of Lancaster. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren, one, Heriberto, III, whom Heriberto and Carmen raised from the time he was six years old. Heriberto also leaves behind three great-grandchildren. He is also survived by a brother, William Rosa, of Luquillo, PR.

Family and friends will be received for a viewing from 6PM to 7:30PM, Tuesday, May 17, 2016 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA 17602. Following the viewing there will be a brief service. Funeral Services for Heriberto will be held at 12PM, Wednesday, May 18, 2016 at the funeral home. Family and friends will be received from 11AM to 12PM. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster.
