Heriberto Espola-Cancel, 66, of Lancaster, passed away on July 9, 2021 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in San German, PR, Heriberto was the son of the late Maximino Espola and Nereida Centron. He was the longtime companion of Ada Eubank.

Heriberto loved to spend time along the Conowingo River in Maryland, enjoyed dancing and listening to all types of music and especially enjoyed travelling to Ocean City, MD, Florida, and Puerto Rico.

In addition to his companion, Ada, he is survived by his children: Heriberto Espola, Pricilla N. Espola, Heriberto Espola, Mitch Espola, and Krystal Garza; 11 siblings: Pascual Espola, Evelyn Roman-Espola, Angel Sample, Jose Sample, Roberto Sample, Zenaida Sample, Virgen Sample, Sonny Olmeda, Elisa Espola, Wilfred Diaz, and Eliud Diaz; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 2 siblings: Miguel Espoola and Irma E. Espola.

Private interment will take place at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, where he will be laid to rest with his mother, Nereida Centron.
