Herculano Medina, age 94 of Lancaster, passed away at his home on July 14, 2025. Born on November 7, 1930 in Tixmeuc, Yucatan, Mexico. He was the son of the late Cristino and Encarnacion (Arceo) Medina.

Herculano was a dedicated handyman, known for his incredible work ethic and his ability to fix anything that came his way. His resilience and industrious nature made him an invaluable asset as a Superintendent in the New York City property management industry, where he lent his skills and knowledge throughout his career. He found great joy in keeping busy, not only through his work but also by tending to his home and helping those around him. His hands were always busy, whether he was repairing a neighbor's fence or tackling a project at home. When not working, Herculano was an avid sports fan and particularly loved watching the New York Yankees.

Herculano is survived by his children: Julio C. Sevilla (husband of Cecilia) of New York City, Luis M. Velez (husband of Lisa Lefever) of York, Miguel A. Medina of Lancaster and Jessica Rodriguez (wife of Arcadio) of Lancaster; grandchildren: Tatjana, Christopher, Luis, Sabrina, Adrian, Alondra, Eric, and Jayden and three great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Herculano is preceded in death by his wife, Iris Medina.

A gathering of friends will be held at Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 414 E. King St., Lancaster, PA. 17602, on July 19, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Burial will be held at the convenience of the family.
