Helene Janet (Bachman) Miller, 77, of Lancaster, died Saturday, July 19, 2014 at United Zion Retirement Community in Lititz, PA.

Born in Norwalk, CT, she was the wife of John T. Miller of Lancaster, PA, to whom she was married 58 years. She was the daughter of the late Charles W. and Viola Bachman.

Helene was employed as a customer service rep by MBI/Danbury Mint for 30 years until her retirement.

She was of the Episcopalian faith.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Jeanne L. Hastings and her husband Mark of Norwalk, CT; a son, John P. Miller and his wife Bernice of Strasburg, PA; 6 grandchildren: Jenna, John, Kevin, Matthew, Daniel, and Andrew; 6 great-grandchildren; a brother, Norman Bachman of Charlottesville, VA; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Charlotte Milazzo, and two brothers, Charles and John Bachman.

Services and burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
