Helena Marie "Lena" "Lee" Pemberton, passed away peacefully at the age of 58 at her home and surrounded by family on October 14, 2024. She is now in the arms of her Lord and Savior. Born in Montclair, NJ, she was the daughter of Samuel R. and Sandra L. (Early) Pemberton.

Lena was a graduate of Irvington High School in New Jersey. She worked as a social worker at various places including SERV Centers, hospitals, and more. Lena was also a talented poet, loved to cook, had an eye for interior design and landscaping, and loved to shop. If you knew Lena, you knew of her exceptional fashion sense encompassing bright colors, funky sunglasses, and always a matching pair of shoes. She was passionate, generous, and always willing to give to anyone in need.

In addition to her parents Samuel and Sandra, she is survived by her sister Nicole Pemberton, niece Qiana Pemberton (Craig Hedrington), great-nieces and nephew: Amira, Craig, Jr., Lauryn, Zylah, and Aryia; and her fur-baby Gideon. She was predeceased by her other fur-baby, Tai.

A celebration of Lena's life will be held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at 12 PM at DOVE Westgate Church, 1755 W Main St, Ephrata, PA 17522. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Lena's name to DOVE Westgate Church.
