Helen S. Smith, of Lititz, went home to be with The Lord on May 1, 2018. She was married to the late William W. Smith who passed away in 2005. She loved attending church and was of the Christian faith. She was known for the vast amount of poetry she had written. She volunteered at Matthew 25 Thrift Store in Lititz for 17 years, was an avid reader and also enjoyed traveling. She is survived by a son and daughter in law, William G. Smith and Donna Smith, of Millersville; two grandchildren, Jason M. and wife Michelle Smith, and Tess A. Smith, all of Colorado, and great-grandson Kilian Zane Smith. Preceding her in death, in addition to her husband, are her mother Esther M. Shenberger and her father Charles M. Shenberger, sisters, Gladys Hornberger and Ruth Helt, and a brother, Robert Eitnier. Her Life Celebration Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 am Monday May 7, 2018 at Lititz United Methodist Church at 201 E. Market St. Lititz, PA 17543 with Pastor Jerry McGrath officiating. Prior to the service, guests may call on the family from 9:00am until 10:00am. Burial services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Helen's honor can be made to Matthew 25 at 48 E. Main Street Lititz, PA 17543.
