Helen Walter Riley, 86, died at Landis Homes Lititz, PA, on Saturday, December 19, 2009. Her husband, the late Charles Edward, Riley Sr., died in 1995.

Born in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Edward T. and Alvesta Chilson Walter. A homemaker, Helen started Meals on Wheels in Montgomery County. She was a member of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Lancaster, PA, and St. Philip In The Fields Episcopal Church in Oreland, PA.

Surviving Helen are her son, Charles E. Riley, Jr. of Weymouth, MA, daughter, Marcia R., wife of Daniel C. Beckwith of Lititz, PA, five grandchildren, and a sister, Louise W. Carroll of Monument, CO.

A memorial service will take place in the East Bethany Chapel of Landis Homes, Lititz, PA on Tuesday, December 29 ^th at 10:30 AM, with Chaplain Donald W. Good officiating. The family will greet friends immediately following the memorial service. Private interment in the St. Thomas Episcopal Church Memorial Garden. Please omit flowers.
