Helen M. Milligan, 69, of Lancaster, PA, formerly of Philadelphia, passed away peacefully Saturday May 8, 2021 in the comfort of her home. Born August 21, 1951 in Philadelphia, Helen was the daughter of the late Ernest and Cora (Martin) Milligan.

Gracious and loving by nature, Helen served as a foster care parent to many children through the years. She enjoyed travelling to local destinations such as Wildwood, NJ and Atlantic City and found joy in attending various casinos. She was a bold and passionate woman. Helen adored her grandchildren and will be dearly missed by many.

Helen is survived by two sons: Philip Milligan husband of Crystal and Dovin Milligan husband of Andrea; a daughter: Ivory Stokes wife of Eugene; a brother: Stephen Milligan; two sisters: Doris Milligan and Mary Milligan; two nephews: Kevin Farlow and Jeremiah Milligan; 10 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; as well as several beloved foster children.

In addition to her parents, Helen was preceded in death by five brothers: Ernest, Herbert, Frankie, Philip, and Tony Milligan.

Family and friends will be received at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home, 3110 Lititz Pike Lititz, PA 17543 on Wednesday May 19, 2021 from 10AM to 11AM.
