Helen M. Lewis Styer, 90, of Millersville, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018, at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of the late Victor H. and Ellen Martzall. Helen retired from the former Lancaster Laundry after many years. She enjoyed music and especially loved to dance to anything with a beat well into her 80's. She enjoyed attending powwows, and going shopping was always on the agenda. She was a former member of the Moose Lodge and attended the Lancaster County Senior Center. Helen is survived by a spouse, Peter Styer, and her children, Charles Lewis, Stephen Lewis, and Harold Lewis, all of Lancaster, Melissa Martin and her husband Douglas of Millersville, and Rodger Lewis and his wife Susan of FL. Also surviving are three sisters, Doris Fisher of Landisville, Mary Ellen Wood of Lancaster, and Victoria Plasterer of Columbia, and a brother Victor Martzall and his wife Dot of LA; four grandchildren; multiple great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Nancy Lewis, her son, Randolph Lewis, and a sister, Gloria Whitecap. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 12:30 PM at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 East King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602, where a viewing will begin at 12:00. Interment will follow at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery, Lancaster.
