Helen Ann (Krupnik) Sheckells, 90, of Lititz, PA, and formerly of Maryland, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2025. Born in Harrisburg, PA, she was the daughter of the late Stephen and Julia (Witowski) Krupnik. She was married to Stewart S. Sheckells for 44 years prior to his passing in 2010.

Helen graduated from Bon Secours School of Nursing in 1955 becoming a Registered Nurse in 1956. She was a proud veteran of the US Army, serving in the Nurse Corps and later being honorably discharged with the rank of 1st Lieutenant. Helen was passionate about spending time on the beach, especially OCMD, traveling, cooking Polish food, and painting beautiful landscapes that her family will treasure. She was of strong faith and was raised a devout Catholic. Most of all, Helen cherished spending time with her grandsons and family.

Helen is survived by her son, Stefan S. Sheckells, his wife Jennifer, 2 grandsons: Soren and Sam Sheckells, 2 of her 9 siblings: Suzi Miller and Therese Krupnik, and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Helen will be laid to rest at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial contributions in Helen's name to Landis Homes Caring Fund by visiting www.Landiscommunities.org .
