Helen R. Heurich, 81, of Downingtown, passed away, December 18, 2017 at the Paoli Memorial Hospital. She was born November 7, 1936 the daughter of Martin and Ursula (Houck) Bucher.

She had been a long-time employee of Landis Homes, Lititz. She was active in the Harvest Worship Center Assembly of God Church, Downingtown.

She is survived by her loving family, son, Tim Heurich (Megan), Downingtown, step-children; Marcia Charney, Fairfax, VA, and Jimmy Heurich, San Antonio, TX, four sisters; Joanne Shenk (Roy), Delmar, DE, Mary Strohm, Lititz, Sue Brechbill (Ray), Lititz, Ethel Caldwell, Lancaster, brother, Paul Bucher (Marie), Manheim, eight grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and two great great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Heurich, son, Maurice Heurich, Jr., sister, Elsie Leininger, and one grandchild.

Graveside service will be held, 11:30 AM, Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at Erb's Mennonite Church Cemetery, 567 W. Lexington, Lititz. Memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, December 27, at Landis Homes West Bethany Chapel, luncheon will follow at Landis Homes West Community Room. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Landis Homes Caring Fund, 1001 E. Oregon Road, Lititz, PA, 17543.
