Helen Ferber, 94, of Lancaster, passed away at Willow Valley on December 10, 2018 with her family by her side. Born in Churchville, she was the daughter of Earl Snyder and Myrtle (Johnsonbaugh) Snyder. Helen studied at Drexel University, specializing in Home Economy and Nutrition. After receiving her degree, she taught Home Economy and did seminars as a part of an extension program for a local college. A lover of music, Helen was a talented singer who enjoyed singing in choir. For over a decade, Helen was involved in Boy Scouts as a Den Mother. Helen was a loving and supportive mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is survived by her four sons; Bill, Ed, Rick, and Dave Ferber, twelve grandchildren, and a growing number of great-grandchildren. Preceding in death are her husbands, LeRoy Ferber and Richard Meyrick. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
