Hector Vega, 68, passed away peacefully at his Lancaster home on Friday, April 17, 2015, with his companion of 40 years, Hilda Ramos, by his side. He was born in Cayey, Puerto Rico to the late Francisco Vega and Alejandrina Diaz.

He worked for John F. Cope and attended San Juan Bautista Catholic Church. Hector liked to play cards and dominoes with his family and friends, and he loved to listen to music.

Hector is survived by his companion Hilda Ramos and her children, Sonia Rosario, Janette Rosario and Tomas Rosario; and 6 step-grandchildren and 11 step-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of Hector's life will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2015, at 3:00 pm in the Community Room of Church Street Towers, 333 Church St., Lancaster, PA 17602.
