Heather E. Springer, 55, of Lancaster passed away Sunday, April 5, 2026, at her home. Born in Lancaster, she was the daughter of Raymond and Marilyn (Baer) Springer.

She was a 1989 graduate of Penn Manor High School and earned her bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design & Merchandising from Albright College in 1993 and later earned her master’s degree in education from Millersville University in 2002.

Heather was a buyer for the junior department at the former Donecker’s in Ephrata and loved traveling to NYC to visit the garment district. She worked as a teacher in public education teaching elementary and middle school students in Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Virginia. Her favorite job was working as a flight attendant for the former U.S. Airways.

She loved to travel visiting California, Chicago, Florida, Las Vegas, South Carolina, and New Orleans. Heather was an avid football fan. She enjoyed playing tennis and golf. Heather was a sharp dresser and could put an outfit together in a matter of minutes. Heather loved to cook and decorate for all the holidays, especially Thanksgiving and Christmas.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by her sister, Tina Trimble, wife of Michael Piascinski; nephew, Zachary Trimble, husband of Olivia; niece, Lauren Wenrich, wife of Jeremy; grandnephew, Jase Trimble; grandnieces, Adalynn Trimble, Emma Trimble, and Nadine Wenrich.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2PM on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Charles F. Snyder III Funeral Home & Crematory, 2421 Willow Street Pike, Willow Street, PA. Family and friends will be received from 1-2PM at the funeral home on Saturday. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Heather’s memory may be made to Clare House, 344 E.
