Hazel C. Southwick, 85, of 155 Broad St., Rheems, died Friday at Lancaster General Hospital.

Born in Trenton, NJ, she was the daughter of the late William R. and Leona (Richert) Southwick.

Hazel had served as a librarian at the Trenton Library for 47 years, retiring in 1987. She enjoyed traveling, visiting destinations all over the world.

She is survived by 2 nieces: Deborah  married to Dennis Farley of Lititz, and Alice Volen of Trenton, NJ; a nephew William Southwick of N. Ft. Myers. FL; a great nephew Jonathan Farley of Lititz, and a great great niece, Katelyn. She was preceded in death by 2 brother, William and Richert Southwick.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 10-11Am at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home and Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA, with the funeral service to follow at 11AM. Interment in Conestoga Memorial Park.
