Harvey "Jim" Miller, Jr., 81, of Lancaster passed away Tuesday, February 25th at home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Columbia, PA he was the son of the late Anna Anderson Miller and Harvey J. Miller. He is survived by his wife Carolyn Schopf Miller with whom together recently celebrated 62 years of marriage.

In addition to his wife, he is also survived by 6 children, Barbara, wife of William Bartels, Sharon Greatti, H. James Miller III, husband of Nancy Miller, Tammie, wife of Andy Maysilles, Mindy, wife of Jeff Esbenshade and Mitchell Miller, husband of Wendy Miller, along with 18 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren with 2 on the way. Also surviving is a sister, Donna, wife of Edgar Ohrel and brother Gary Miller.

Jim served in the US Army. He was also a Master Mason and a member of Masonic Lodge #43, a member of the American Legion Post 34, a member of the Scottish Rite of Harrisburg, and a member of Highland Presbyterian Church.

He started his own business, Distributor Associates, Inc. in 1974. An avid Penn State fan, Jim loved all local sports.

He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather who will be missed dearly by his family and friends.
