Harry J. Perkins, 79, of Lancaster went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, February 9, 2023. Born in Philadelphia, PA he was the son of the late William and Abby (Scull) Perkins. He was the husband of the late Janet L. Perkins who passed away in 2020. He worked as an HVAC tech for Weis Markets. Harry's faith in Jesus was the cornerstone of life and he was a member of Calvary Church for over 30 years. He was an avid gardener and loved hiking, fishing, and photography, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He is survived by his two daughters, Karen S. Perkins of Lancaster, and Anita Witmer wife of Jason of Ephrata, PA. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Justin and Adam; siblings, Laura Mason of Pennsauken, NJ, William Perkins of Highspire, PA, Alan Perkins husband of Sheila of Houston, TX, Robert Perkins of West Chester, PA and a host of loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Frank Scull and sister, Dolores Devlin. Funeral Services will be held at 11AM on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Calvary Church, 1051 Landis Valley Rd, Lancaster, PA 17601. Interment will be private in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Family and friends will be received from 10-11AM at the church on Thursday.
