Harry James "Jim" Strickler, 95, of Lancaster, passed away on Monday, October 8, 2018 at Evergreen Estates in Lancaster under the care of Hospice and Community Care. He was the loving husband of the late Helen L. "Ruth" Strickler who died in 2000. Born in Hopeland, PA he was a son of the late Harry A. and Bessie (Enck) Strickler. A proud veteran, he served with the United States Army during WWII. Before Ruth's passing, they spent many years traveling all of the lower 48 states. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his siblings, Mary Mease, Robert Strickler and Nancy Mohler. Burial is private. Memorial services will be announced at a later date.
