Hannah S. Whitehead, 92, died at her home in Manheim Township on Sunday, January 10, 2010. She was the wife of the late Jim Whitehead who died in 1977.

She was born in Hull, England, the daughter of the late Robert and Annie Eliza Thompson Soar. Hannah worked for the former Dodge Cork Company in Lancaster for 27 years.

Surviving are her son James, husband of Beatrice "Bea" Whitehead of Lancaster, four grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband and also her daughter Margaret Whitehead.

The funeral will be held at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Chapel, 3110 Lititz Pike, Lititz, PA on Thursday, Jan. 14th at 11 AM, with Pastor Don Neff officiating.
