Guy H. Rittenhouse, age 64, of Lancaster, PA, passed away on Saturday, February 3rd, 2018 at Lancaster General Hospital. Born in Lancaster, the son of the late Henry F. Rittenhouse, Jr. and Betsy Ross Rittenhouse. Guy worked for 35 years at Donnelley Financial Solutions (former R.R. Donnelley) as an IT Infrastructure Engineer 3. Prior to that, he was an Industrial Engineer at DentalEZ. Guy retired in September 2017. He graduated from Hempfield High School in 1972. While in High School, he was recognized as an all-county gymnast on the parallel bars. Growing up, he was on the East Petersburg swim team, winning first place in the back stroke. Guy was very active in LCBC and taught Sunday School for many years. He loved The Lord and his desire was to pass that value onto his family. Guy was recognized by those who knew him as a very generous and giving person. He is survived by 5 children: Kristie Rittenhouse, Jason Rittenhouse, Kyle Rittenhouse, Tyler Rittenhouse and Jacob Rittenhouse; and 5 siblings: Hank Rittenhouse, Sherry Brown, Ike Rittenhouse, Kim White and Jon Rittenhouse. A viewing will take place from 10-11 AM with a Funeral Service to begin at 11 AM on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 at the Charles F. Snyder Funeral Home & Crematory, 414 E. King Street, Lancaster, PA 17602. Guy will be laid to rest at Mellinger Mennonite Cemetery.
